Some suggestions about what to visit in the area

The Castle is ideally located halfway of Geneva and Montélimar, Lyon and Grenoble, Bourgoin-Jallieu and Vienna. It is distant only of approximately 25 km of important motorway axes: With 7, A 43 and A 48.
There are 2 international airports  in the area: St-Exupery (Lyon) about 40 km away and St-Geoirs (Grenoble), about 30 km away from the Castle.
The nearest train stations are at Vienna near Lyon and Bourgoin Jallieu between Lyon and Grenoble.

Its situation in full heart of the Rhone-Alps area makes it possible to the hosts of the Castle of Bonnevaux to make many one day excursions, of which here some examples:
